Homeless encampments are affecting many cities across the nation. Our team at Bio Hazard Plus is highly trained to remove and clean up these homeless encampments. Our Northern California team was dispatched to a nearby large homeless encampment. There were over 200 homeless encampments and the property owners used excavators to move some of the encampments to put up fencing. This made the job very complex because we had to sift through dirt and debris in order to remove all contents of the homeless encampment. Once we finished the area we were contracted to remove and clean, the property owners pointed out another section beyond the initial area. In addition to removing the large homeless encampment items like stoves, torches, bicycles, motorcycles, and other items, our team removed several buckets of feces and used needles. After we completed the homeless encampment removal, we finished off with disinfecting and sanitizing the area. The job took several days to complete.
