Hoarding clean up jobs involve physical as well as an emotional aspect. Our team at Bio Hazard Plus is highly trained to deal with all facets of hoarding clean up jobs. Our Georgia team was dispatched to a home in which the homeowner was unable to safely move around inside the home. In hoarding jobs there are five stages ranging from light cleanup to more severe involving fire hazards, and human and/or animal feces. This job met all five stages. Upon arrival, our team could not conduct an assessment from inside the home. We had to look through the windows to assess the job and determine an action plan. After several days on the job, sadly, our team discovered several missing cats that were deceased. In addition, there was a severe rodent infestation and hidden rooms with soiled adult diapers. We had to consult with the customer because the scope of the job had changed drastically as our team continued working through the home. Our team also removed sinks, toilets, and carpets, and finished the job with a deep cleaning. You may ask why we would share this particular case study and that is a great question. We want to let you know that at Bio Hazard Plus, no job is too big for our highly trained team.
